For our team in Sassenheim, we are looking for an enthusiastic Manufacturing Process Specialist. As part of this team, you are responsible for keeping, monitoring, and improving processes and equipment in good condition within the framework of EH&S, GMP and MPS for the Upstream Processing (USP), Downstream Processing (DSP) and Fill & Finish Processing Department (F&F). And so, contribute to the production of a groundbreaking new therapy.
As a Manufacturing Process Specialist, you will:
- Be a member of the Operations Readiness Team during the start-up phase of the facility.
- Be a knowledge carrier and Equipment/System owner.
- Facilitates process and equipment improvements. This also includes leading and carrying out the Change Control process and defining the User Requirements in consultation with other parties.
- Actively lead and participate in root cause investigations, identification of corrective and preventive actions and ensures that these are taken care of adequately and within agreed timelines.
- Run projects related to production capacity and equipment life cycle management.
- Initiate and lead improvements in the field of ARBO/EHS and quality.
- Use data and modeling as tools for preventing process deviations or process improvements.
Qualifications
- Bachelor's degree in biotechnology, biochemistry, biomedicine, process technology (or equivalent education).
- 2-4 years (operations) experience in biotechnology or biopharmaceutical production processes. Preferably both upstream and downstream processing.
- Experience as a system/process owner.
- Good knowledge of automation is recommended.
- Knowledge of process management / process improvement methodologies (e.g., Lean Six Sigma Belt, JJOS).
- Excellent communication skills in English, additional Dutch is preferred.
