As Operational Partnership Manager you are responsible for the operational performance of our last-mile delivery partners across the globe. You serve as a key point of contact and operational specialist towards these partners. Together with other internal departments and our global delivery partners you realize the required quality at the lowest cost. This covers all e-commerce products, parcels and the smaller mailbox delivered parcels. This challenging job involves incident management, which means that you will manage and resolve unplanned events and issues in our global delivery processes. Your job is to act fast and don't panic! What happened, what does the data tell you? Come with a sharp route cause analysis and solve the problem. For this you will need the full scope around operational processes, (IT) system integrations and human actions. You will also focus on realizing the best operational performance with a practical set of KPI's, while building relationships with top-notch last-mile delivery partners. We want to be the preferred service provider by supporting the cross-border e-commerce market through creative and innovative solutions. Our employees and customers are key. - This position is on grade 9 with a salary between € 3.252,- and € 4.927,- gross monthly based on your background and level;

You demonstrate excellent analytical skills, which means you are able to analyze the root causes of unplanned events and incidents in our global operational processes. In addition, you are able to propose counteractive measures to our international partners so we can realize the operational performance (KPI's) together with them. In addition we like you to be action-oriented and result driven. You are comfortable deciding on the best action plan, while sometimes time and information are limited. When the fire gets hot, you are comfortable in the front line. You are persuasive and able to convince both internal and external stakeholders at different organizational levels. You are good in anticipation of future problems, needs or changes. Rather than just responding to it after it has happened. Think three steps ahead. You know how to prioritize and how to use our resources, in order to achieve the desired performance standard.
In summary you can find yourself in the following background:
- At least 3 years relevant work experience in an international logistics or e-commerce environment with many cultural differences;
- Good knowledge of the global e-Commerce markets, e-Commerce customers and retail products;
- Familiar with Excel, PowerBI and in general a "data driven" mindset;
- Demonstrated experience with developing and maintaining effective relationships with international e-commerce partners;
- You are perfectly able to communicate in English, verbally and in writing. Mastering another European language is considered a plus;
- You demonstrate excellent interpersonal, communication, and presentation skills.
