Who you are
We are looking for a Data Analyst to join us in building outstanding digital products for the many customers and co-workers in the omni capabilities area. Our team is at the fore front of digital product development by understanding the behavior of our customers and co-workers better than anyone else. This role is the ideal mixture of performing deep-dive analysis and building dashboards to steer digital product development.This role is part of Selling and Payments Insights Team within the Digital Channel & Commerce domain, and we would love to talk with you, if you recognize yourself in some of the following:
• Passionate about understanding business problems and applying data analytics to solve them.
• You are in love with working with large amounts of data, exploring the challenges and redefining
how we can improve our digital products.
• Experience in developing data and statistics-driven solutions for real-life business problems.
• Love being creative through code (SQL is a must, Python a welcome addition)
• Can formulate hypotheses from the data you use.
• Love (data) storytelling and using visualizations of data to explain facts.
• are experienced in developing easy to use BI dashboards in different tools (Power BI, Looker
Studio...)
• Have a strong background in math, computer science, engineering or equivalent (at least MS or
equivalent)
• Have experience leading the development of advanced analytics frameworks within large
organizations.
• Have experience working in some of the following areas: customer analytics, personalization,
analytics, online customer journeys, etc. (ideally in a retail setting.)
• Are a team player who takes ownership, builds cross-functional relationships with peers, and loves
sharing data knowledge with other coworkers.
• Proactively manage relevant stakeholders and/or teams to drive an intended outcome.
• Are curious, self-directed and want to keep learning!

What you'll be doing day to day
You'll play a vital role in digital product development with a more data-driven approach by ensuring that data insights become a natural part of the organizational workflow and impact present and future decisions on business and product strategy. This means:-• Generate actionable insights to help your stakeholders make better-informed decisions.
• Find metrics / build KPI framework to better understand how our digital products are, thus
monitoring the impact on business.
• Explore data to find challenges and translate them into potential opportunities by forming
hypotheses
• Support data engineers and data scientists to build simplified, easy-to-use, data products for
various coworkers.
• Create presentations in a real storytelling mode that inspires stakeholders.

Our team within IKEA
You will work in Data & Analytics team together with other Data Analysts, Data Scientists, Data Engineers, Data Stewards, ML Engineers and Data Architects. Together you will be joining cross-functional teams consisting of colleagues from Technology, Product and Design, that design, implement and deploy products that help to solve these kinds of problems. It will be a mix of product insights, data visualization and writing code - as well as talking with product owners and business stakeholders.IKEA has long been a global leader in home furnishing.
