FunctieomschrijvingAs an aircraft sheet metal worker, you will be responsible for performing various sheet metal tasks on aircraft. This includes conducting maintenance and repairs on aircraft exteriors, such as replacing damaged metal parts, fixing dents, and carrying out welding work. In this role, you will also have a coordinating position, which involves supervising others, providing instructions, and ensuring proper adherence to those guidelines.
Responsibilities:
- Independently perform a range of mechanical and/or avionics repairs and modifications on aircraft.
- Assess and estimate modifications, defect corrections, and specialized sheet metal repairs.
- Conduct basic repairs, blend outs, and reinforcement work.
- Install and repair floor beams and frames.
- Complete structural repairs on floor beams and fuselage skin, including stringers, doublers, and triplers.
- Remove corrosion, evaluate damage, and restore finishes.
- Education and/or experience in metalworking
- Ability to read technical documents and drawings
- Willingness to travel internationally
- Availability for weekend and evening work
- Competitive salary ranging from €2700 to €3500 per month
- Full-time position (40 hours per week)
