The Procurement department is responsible for all purchasing activities of Odido. As Sourcing Manager you will be responsible for purchasing activities for mainly the Business Unit IT. This Business Unit deals with all IT systems to service our end customers and employees. The scope contains among others portals, CRM, billing, ERP, BI, Hyperscalers and integration systems as well operational and development services provided by our external System Integrators.
In the position of Senior Sourcing Manager IT, you are responsible for setting up, controlling and implementing contracts by means of the Procurement sourcing process. You will ensure the best price / quality for your internal customers, conduct supplier management and interact with our external procurement service provider. You work together in a team of sourcing managers and contract managers, where you are responsible for your designated domain. The focus is on IT related systems and services and includes IT systems and services for other business units such as Enterprise, Mass Market and Network.
The responsibilities/tasks include:
- Align with and advise internal customers/stakeholders on sourcing needs and expected sourcing outcomes.
- Develop the approach and negotiation strategy for the assigned sourcing projects, including appropriate market analysis.
- Execute the RFx process or dedicated supplier negotiations as sole Odido commercial representative to the invited vendors to achieve the optimal Odido goals.
- Guide the (IT) project teams in the sourcing process to ensure an objective sourcing process. Present the sourcing intermediate results and final recommendations to the relevant project steering committees.
- Negotiate contracts with the selected vendors in alignment with the IT teams and the Odido Legal department. Conclude the full procurement process including the final signing activities.
- Handover sourcing results to the assigned contract manager and assist the contract manager and the IT team in case of escalations or vendor performance subjects.
- Continuously identify saving opportunities in the assigned domain and build and execute optimization plans together with contract managers and the IT teams.

You hold a BSc or MSc in a relevant IT or business field. You have at least 5 years experience in a procurement position within the IT area. This has given you detailed knowledge of technical procurement and supplier markets relevant to T-mobile. And you possess practical knowledge in the areas of sourcing and fulfillment. You hold a good understanding of contractual aspects related to IT contracts and in general of telecommunications and IT-networks.
You can identify with a cost-cutting mindset and are willing to take the extra mile to achieve the best deal for all parties.
