Your Role:As an Azure Cloud Solutions Architect, you will lead the design and implementation of enterprise-level cloud solutions. Your strategic insight will guide the integration of new technologies while ensuring that our cloud infrastructure remains secure, cost-effective, and high-performing. You'll collaborate closely with cross-functional teams, acting as a mentor and empowering junior engineers, driving the success of cloud initiatives.
Positioning & Team:In this position, you will report to the Head of Cloud & Infrastructure Solutions within our Network department. You will be part of the Cloud & Infrastructure Solutions team, which consists of around 30 dedicated professionals. Our team works in a hybrid mode and is responsible for the design, build, and management of various infrastructure stacks within Odido's landscape.
We collaborate closely with other teams, including the Windows, DBA, Linux and Digital Workplace teams, ensuring the seamless delivery and management of infrastructure services. Our primary focus is delivering robust infrastructure solutions to our internal IT and Network Technology (NT) customers, supporting the broader Odido IT & Network Operations organization.
Key Responsibilities:Strategic Cloud Leadership
- Lead discussions with business leaders and technical teams to develop cloud strategies that are scalable, flexible, and cost-efficient.
- Architect full-stack Azure solutions with a focus on performance, scalability, and security.
- Work closely with internal stakeholders, including the Digital Workplace team, to ensure seamless integration and alignment with business objectives.
Cloud Infrastructure Development & Optimization
- Oversee the deployment of Azure resources, ensuring automated, scalable, and highly available infrastructures.
- Implement Infrastructure-as-Code (IaC) using tools like Terraform and Azure Resource Manager.
- Ensure cloud environments are optimized for cost and performance, leveraging Azure Cost Management tools.
Security & Compliance
- Design zero-trust security architectures using Azure-native tools like Azure Security Center and Azure Sentinel.
- Ensure adherence to industry standards (e.g., GDPR, SOC 2) and internal governance for secure and compliant cloud environments.
- Architect solutions with a strong focus on identity and access management, leveraging Azure AD and RBAC.
DevOps Integration & Automation
- Lead the development of CI/CD pipelines, integrating DevOps practices with infrastructure management.
- Automate operational workflows using Azure Logic Apps, PowerShell, and Azure CLI to enhance efficiency and scalability.
Data Architecture & Analytics
- Architect large-scale data solutions using services like Azure Synapse Analytics and Data Factory.
- Leverage AI and analytics tools to drive business insights and improve operational efficiency.
Mentorship & Leadership
- Act as a mentor to junior staff, fostering an environment of continuous learning and innovation.
- Lead strategic discussions with senior management, ensuring cloud initiatives align with the company's vision.
- Provide regular training and knowledge-sharing sessions to keep the team updated on best practices and emerging trends.

- Bachelor's degree in Computer Science or a related field.
- 7+ years of experience in cloud architecture, with at least 5+ years of hands-on Azure experience.
- Strong experience in hybrid cloud solutions, security architecture, and DevOps integration.
- Certifications: Azure Solutions Architect Expert (AZ-305) required; Azure Administrator (AZ-104) or AWS/GCP certification is a plus.
