Communications Assistant

We are seeking an organized Communications Assistant with strong administrative skills and excellent technical skills in video editing and graphic design to support administration, project management and communications for a large transformation program. The ideal candidate is efficient, detail-oriented and a team player. What the day will look like.
Reporting to the Business Delivery Lead, your responsibilities will include:
Content Creation and Messaging: 60%
• Crafting compelling and engaging content for various communication channels, including videos, infographics, newsletters, briefing papers, presentations, and digital platforms.
• Ensure consistency in messaging while adapting tone and style to resonate with diverse audiences.
• Supporting with events and meetings.
Communications Admin Support: 30%
• Providing administrative support to the project communications team by:
• Managing the shared mailbox, responding to emails, planning and sending out event and meeting invitations using Outlook and Teams.
• Drafting and editing emails, PowerPoint presentations and other copy as needed.
• Updating databases and spreadsheets.
• Ad hoc administrative tasks as needed.
Project Admin Support: 10%
• Updating Project plans and other governance processes.
• Attend meetings and workshops as needed.
Skills and experience that will lead to success.
• Excellent multitasking and organizational skills.
• Solid researching and writing skills in English.
• Excellent communication abilities (oral and written).
• Proficiency in design software including Canva, Adobe Premiere Pro, Adobe Illustrator, InDesign and After Effects.
• Familiarity with Microsoft Office365.
Language skills
• English C1.
• French/Dutch/German (min B2).
• Other language skills welcome.

Candidate has a minimum HBO degree
Candidate is Fluent English (C1 minimum)
Candidate is B2 minimum for Dutch, German or French.
Candidate has a HBO/university degree specifically in Communication, Marketing, or Public Relations, or 1 year of work experience in Communication, Marketing, or Public Relations.
Candidate is 40 hours (8x5) per week available.
Wensen:
Candidate has experience with content creation; various communication channels, including videos, infographics, newsletters, briefing papers, presentations, and digital platforms.
The more clearly the experience is described, the better we can assess the candidate.
Candidate has proven work experience or internship experience within insurance or financial services industry
Candidate has over 2 years of work experience in a similar role
Candidate has experience with design software like Canva, Adobe Premiere Pro, Adoba Illustrator, Indesign and After Effects
The candidate has gained some experience in project-based work and in maintaining the associated administration
