About the job
We are looking for a Regional Head of Digital who has compelling experience in digital business management to be a part of Global Digital team in the Europe's leader omnichannel consumer retailer. In this function, it is expected to be the solution & expertise provider and contribute development and execution strategic initiatives that drive online market share growth in the defined region. You will be Netherlands-based and travel across Europe will be needed.
You will actively support the countries in the region in their online market share growth journeys by designing operational programs, setting the KPI frameworks and guiding the implementation of these programs. The execution of the digital transformation on regional level and carry out all related projects by improving digital business revenue structures, shaping digital revenue growth, thus anchoring Company's strategic ambition in regional operations business. Your key responsibilities will be to align different countries around Digital Growth and facilitate cross-country collaboration by:
- Active performance tracking with countries to secure Group Digital Share target realisation.
- Collaborate with country ecommerce leaders to develop eCommerce strategy aligned with the organization's overall goals.
- Translate strategic objectives into actionable plans for implementation across local country teams.
- Serve as a central POC for GFK Digital Market Share steering and for coordinating eCommerce initiatives across different countries.
- Act as a key stakeholder in delivering action plans and helping to navigate any local / group roadblocks to escalate.
- Facilitate regular meetings and workshops to share insights, best practices, and lessons learned.
- Develop sales driver planning to secure Group Digital Share target realisation globally and per country.
Who are you?
To be successful in this job you should be energized to tackle all aspects of digital business management metrics to calculate, steer and ensure planning quality across countries for the Global Digital organization and facilitate various collaboration internally and externally related with all aspects of digital business management. Consultancy experience and country ecommerce management is required. Furthermore you have:
- Demonstrated ability to think strategically and develop long-term plans aligned with organizational objectives.
- Strong analytical skills with the ability to synthesize complex data and information into actionable insights.
- Proven track record of developing and implementing successful strategies in a fast-paced, dynamic environment.
- Exceptional verbal and written communication skills in German, with the ability to articulate complex concepts clearly and persuasively.
- Strong interpersonal skills and the ability to build relationships with stakeholders at all levels of the organization.
- Experience presenting to executive leadership and influencing decision-making processes.
- Proven ability to navigate a multi-dimension matrix organization and drive alignment and consensus among diverse stakeholders.
- Strong project management skills, with the ability to prioritize competing demands and meet deadlines effectively.
