What you are going to do
As a Corporate Culture Strategist at NN, your responsibilities will include:
- Developing and maintaining the NN Values framework, Purpose statement, and stakeholder engagement approach while ensuring alignment with our overall strategic objectives
- Developing and implementing an operational plan, targets, and specific initiatives to drive cultural change across the organisation
- Evaluating the implementation of programmes, defining parameters of success, and coordinating internal monitoring and reporting in alignment with relevant departments
- Collaborating with other teams and departments such as Human Resources, Brand Marketing, Legal & Compliance, Sustainability & Social Impact, and Corporate Communications to meet joint operating key results, maximise the impact of programmes and initiatives, and inform and engage internal and external stakeholders on our Purpose and Values
- Representing Corporate Culture & Affairs in various internal working groups and networks and contributing to the development of NN's annual reporting process
- Keeping up-to-date with local regulations, ensuring compliance with national and international regulations and codes for the financial industry, such as the Dutch Corporate Governance code, and developing processes for dealing with new and evolving requirements
- Following developments and trends that might affect our company, sharing and disseminating knowledge on best (market) practices, and providing recommendations for continuous improvement

Who you are
To be considered for this role, you should have:
- A relevant academic degree (e.g. Business, organisational change, business psychology)
- Minimum of 5 years of experience with corporate culture and stakeholder management, including knowledge of relevant legislation and reporting requirements for a regulated (publicly listed) organisation
- Strong ability to work and communicate effectively with diverse groups of people in different cultural, functional, and geographical areas, with international working experience preferred
- Results-oriented self-starter with the ability to think and advise strategically, coordinate multiple projects simultaneously, and initiate change processes
- Strong analytical skills, ability to use data to make informed decisions, high organisational sensitivity, and excellent communication skills in English and Dutch
Who you will work with
At NN, Corporate Culture & Affairs is a support function that closely collaborates with the People, Communications, and Sustainability domain within the NN Group's Management Board. This domain comprises sub-departments that specialise in specific areas, including Human Resources, Facility Management, Brand Marketing, Corporate Communications, Public and Government Affairs, and Sustainability and Social Impact.
Our team of 7 FTE is situated at the International head office of NN Group in The Hague. We are accountable for a range of disciplines related to the NN Values and Purpose statements, the implementation of NN Future Ready Behaviours (in collaboration with HR and Corporate Communications), driving the Diversity Equity & Inclusion strategy and coordinating stakeholder engagement.
We also preserve the corporate cultural heritage and manage the corporate Art and History collections.
We work closely with other stakeholder-oriented departments within Corporate Relations, including Public and Government Affairs, Corporate Communications, Sustainability & Social Impact, and Brand Marketing. Our managers, who all report to the Chief People, Communications, and Sustainability Officer, align activities to ensure that the company speaks with one voice and all relevant messaging is integrated into the broader NN strategic narrative. Our team also collaborates closely with Human Resources, Facility Management, Legal & Compliance and our (inter) national Business Units to coordinate and roll-out joint programmes and initiatives.
