WODEN is a Scandinavian shoe brands founded in 2013 in Denmark and now sold in more than 25 countries around the world. Over the past few years, our company has positioned itself extremely successfully in the Benelux region. We are proud to have developed a strong partnership with some of the biggest names within fashion and shoes in The Netherlands with over 200 stores offering WODEN. To further strengthen this positive development, we are looking for a Junior Account Manager (Shoes), to support our Sales Manager and assist with sales activities in the region.
Your Responsibilities: In this role you will be in daily contact with our customers and some of the key players in the branch. After a thorough introduction to our brand and processes, you will have your own responsibilities that can be grouped into 3 main categories: sales, prospection and in-store activities (training and merchandising).
Sales:
- Assist with the selling-in of our main collections and express collections to our customers in The Netherlands.
- Ensuring replenishment and additional sales to existing field accounts.
- Maintaining and strengthening relationships through regular contact with existing customers.
Prospection:
- Independent and proactive prospection of new customers.
- Participation in trade shows and events.
Training and Merchandising:
- Implement relevant marketing and merchandising concepts in our partner’s stores (key accounts).
- Training of the staff to ensure up-to-date brand knowledge and continuous focus in stores.
Your skills and qualifications:
The ideal candidate is ambitious with a passion for fashion.Your background is not the most critical factor, but we expect that you have a proven track of record within sales for example as a sales representative or in a backup sales role. Candidates with solid retail and merchandising experience will also be considered. Experience in the footwear or fashion industry is preferred. To be successful in this role we imagine that:

The position involves a combination of home office days and very regular traveling in the field. It is a requirement to have a Class B driver's license. We expect to open a showroom in 2025 in the Amsterdam area, which can become your base. You will report to the Sales Manager in The Netherlands and work closely with our internal sales and marketing team. You can expect 5-10 traveling days to our headquarter in Denmark each year.
