Our Global HR (Human Resources) team is looking for a committed, ambitious and delivery-oriented business manager reporting to the Global Head of HR Strategy & People Analytic.
The Team
HR Strategy & People Analytics consists of several key areas: HR Academy, HR Strategy, Risk, and People Analytics.
This position will provide you a broad insight across HR and accountability, global experience and the opportunity to drive an ambitious HR Strategy and Analytics agenda. You will work with and report directly to the Global Head of HR Strategy & People Analytics (S&PA) and be part of the management team. It requires someone who combines common sense, curiosity and maturity with excellent judgment, discretion, and integrity. The ideal candidate is a self-directed executor who helps orchestrate progress effectively in front of and behind the scenes. Excellent communication skills are a must as well as being comfortable with ambiguity and working in a time sensitive environment.
Role & Responsibilities
- You are a full member of the management team and act as a sparring partner, sounding board and troubleshooter for the team in day-to-day activities.
- Advising and supporting the MT in developing the S&PA team's long-term strategic agenda, preparing plans to deliver priorities, and monitoring progress on projects and activities.
- Supporting the MT in daily, weekly, or monthly recurring activities, such as preparation of leadership meetings, steering committees, creation of presentations, communication, performing data analysis, and stakeholder management.
- Identifying opportunities for optimization, innovation, and the organizational effectiveness of the S&PA team and its management processes.
- Tracking and coordinating larger tasks with a higher impact as per standard project management methodologies on a project basis.
- Coordinate the Dynamic Plan and forecast for the team with Finance and launch follow-up actions.
- Acting as a linking pin and responsible for relationships with other business and support functions.
- Supporting activities and events related to the S&PA strategy, MT meetings, offsites, town halls, public appearances, etc.
- Coordinate the end-to-end submission process for bank wide boards and committees, while closely managing the relationships with the relevant stakeholders (Corporate Affairs, Business Manager to the CHRO, members of the HRMT, etc.).
- Build a trusted relationship with the management team members to support good collaboration.
- Quality assures team deliverables, ensuring consistent standards and tone of voice.
How to succeed
- Solid understanding of HR, as well as the drivers of our business
- 3 - 5 years of work experience in an international setting
- An international mindset with a can-do mentality, comfortable pushing through resistance.
- An effective team player with good interpersonal and communication skills, both in the core team and the wider Retail team and support functions.
- Excellent in problem-solving, with strong attention to detail, and able to translate complex matters into simple terms.
- Curious and a fast learner, comfortable in deep-diving into complex content.
- Experienced and skilled in delivering clear, concise, and compelling presentations.
- Very analytical and experienced with data-driven decision-making, able to translate and communicate analysis into a compelling story.
- Highly effective in planning and organization, consistently achieving results and meeting commitments.
- Able to work independently on various projects and activities simultaneously, often under pressure, and able to prioritize your time accordingly.
- Resilient and able to rebound from setbacks and adversity when facing difficult situations.
- Comfortable with ambiguity and high work pressure, able to work to tight deadlines.
- Well-organized to handle and grasp multiple topics.
- Fluent in English, both verbally and in writing.
- You're interested in broadening and deepening in the fields of HR strategy and organization.
