RTL started in 1989 as the first commercial broadcaster in the Netherlands. Our mission has not changed since then: we want to reach and inspire everyone in the Netherlands with essential stories that touch the heart and mind. RTL has five television channels (RTL 4, RTL 5, RTL 7, RTL 8 and RTL Z), streaming platform Videoland, three digital theme channels (RTL Lounge, RTL Crime, RTL Telekids), sales organization Ad Alliance and the platforms RTL Nieuws & Entertainment and RTL Weer / Buienradar. RTL Nieuws, Editie NL and RTL Z bring you 24/7 the latest news, their own journalistic research and interpretation via the broadcasts, website, app and socials. Our makers tell the stories that are relevant to the Netherlands. Personal, recognizable, close by and thanks to our tech and content experts you can view it where and when you want. We are always looking for new colleagues who bring a perspective that complements and makes us better. RTL is a subsidiary of the international RTL Group, part of Bertelsmann.
We are looking for a senior C# .NET Engineer to join our Newsroom team and help us expand our popular digital products. As a member of this cross-functional, agile team, you will work closely with the product owner to develop and maintain the team's services. These services include our microservices-based Newsroom middleware, which connects different systems we use for the Newsroom domain along with upcoming integrations with different domains within RTL.
