Additional Information:
• On offer we have both Permanent, Part-time 50hrs/fortnight and Full-time 76hrs/fortnight.
• The internal job title for this role is Commercial Co-worker.
• This role requires availability to work 8:30am to 6:00pm weekdays, weekends and public holidays.
• You also have the availability to work 3 out of 4 weekends in a month (both Saturday and Sunday consecutively).
• This role is based in IKEA Planning Studio, inside the HomeCo. Belrose Shopping Centre, NSW 2085.
RECRUITMENT PROCESS

• If your application is progressed, you will be invited to attend an in-person interview with the hiring team.
• If you are successful, your shifts will commence from Monday 25 November 2024.
About this work area
As Sales Co-worker your responsibilities will include, but are not limited to:• Approach arriving and browsing customers. Identify their overall need to support them in the best way by asking the right questions.
• Actively participating in selling products with a positive attitude and contribute to business goals and growth.
• Prepare meetings with customers and lead in a 1:1 appointment through your planning proposal by communicating benefits and adapting through understanding the customer feedback to convert the planning offer into a purchase.
• Practise Active Selling whilst maintaining profitability by knowing and actively steering towards the top-selling and prioritised products.
• Prepare product presentation and secure merchandising basics. Ensure all customer material and digital solutions are ready to use - to give customers a positive shopping experience.
As Sales Co-worker you are or have:
• Passionate about learning and sharing the IKEA product range with customers.
• Able to prioritise multiple tasks and are comfortable with on-the-job physical activity.
• Adopt a customer-focused mindset and strive to deliver a memorable shopping experience.
• A 'Togetherness' mindset where you'll work closely with your team yet also be able to work independently.
• Strong customer service skills, alongside being able to interact with many customers consistently.
• Proficient computer skills and an ability to learn about all technical aspects of the IKEA IT systems and tools.
