Who you are
WHO ARE YOUAs a person, you are engaged and committed to delivering the Compensation and Benefits Framework in the global functions in the Netherlands. You have knowledge of Compensation and Benefits practices and policies, regulations, and legislations together with a good knowledge of labor law in the Netherlands and compliances in relation to this area. In addition, you are experienced in payroll and related activities in the Netherlands. You have good communication skills and can build trust and support People & Culture (HR) Business Partners, Center of Expertise Total Rewards, and managers in a professional and confidential way. You enjoy working in a vibrant and changing multidimensional environment and are preferably familiar with working locally but interacting globally. We would love to see that you have the ambition to grow with us!
For this role, we believe you have a minimum of two years of experience within HR with an emphasis on payroll processes and Compensation and Benefits administration. It is beneficial if you have a cross-functional understanding of Ingka/ IKEA Matrix and operations. For this role, you are successfully handling multiple stakeholders at the time, you are process- and data-driven, and can produce timely results with accuracy and high quality under time pressure. You are interested in working in an agile way, you have an analytical mind, and you are comfortable working with numbers and conceptualization. In addition, you can navigate challenging discussions with stakeholders in a professional way. As a person you are independent in your work, service-minded, and passionate about Compensation and Benefit topics. You are used to handling delicate topics with discretion and high integrity.

YOUR RESPONSIBILITIES
In the role as Compensation and Benefit Specialist, you will provide support and advice in the design and administration of benefits and compensation strategy, in line with the People Strategy and Total Rewards framework.
You will:
• Translate global guidelines into local Compensation and Benefit frameworks
• Define the right Compensation and Benefits level for each co-worker, incl. Bonus, benefits, etc. Ensuring equality across functions
• Be responsible for payroll activities for global functions in the Netherlands in cooperation with the Shared Service Centre
• Prepare monthly payroll reconciliations, journal, and accrual reports.
• Perform data validations on payroll output/reports and resolve discrepancies within tight deadlines.
• Cooperate with different stakeholders, e.g. People & Culture (HR) Business Partners, Recruiters, and People & Culture Administrators to ensure seamless onboarding of new hires and
great co-worker experience
• Track and archive all Compensation & Benefits information per co-worker
• Ensure compliance with legal requirements related to the Compensation and Benefits frameworks
• Execute internal reporting on relevant Compensation and Benefits metrics and use the insights to ensure the competitiveness of the Total Rewards offer within the company and the
market
• Keep up to date with market developments and trends and assess the impact of new regulations / legal requirements on the Compensation and Benefits processes

This is a temporary role for 2 years from the start date and the location is in Amsterdam but also need to visit our Leiden office time to time. In this recruitment, there is no relocation support provided by IKEA.
