Do you understand the importance of Data Quality? Do you, like us, have the ambition to structurally bring Finance & Risk Data Management to a higher level? And do you enjoy enabling change and defining future proof processes? Then the Finance & Risk Data Issue Manager role is definitely the position for you!
In this role, you can develop yourself in a professional as well as a personal way. Tell us your story. We are curious!
As a Data Issue Manager in the Finance & Risk Data Issue Management (F&R DIM) team, you will be enabling the bank to solve Finance & Risk related Data Quality (DQ) issues and Data Gaps in an efficient way. Purpose hereof is to contribute to having complete and fit-for-purpose data within the Bank, to improve data quality for Finance & Risk Reports and Models over time and to ensure the data quality is in line with internal and regulatory expectations.
You do so by following the centralized Data Issue Management (DIM) process as defined in our Data Policy and Data Issue Management Standard. This process is at the core of the F&R DIM team as our way of working is End-2-End. This means you will be mapped to a use case (report/model) and/or a reporting department raising data issues within the chain and responsible for the oversight and facilitation of all data issues through Data Issue Management process from before the moment a data issue is raised and until the moment the data issue is closed in Jira. You will be tasked with ensuring your stakeholders know the DIM process, intake data issues in a timely manner, transfer issues to the domains who own the data, support the Data Stewards in the business lines and data domains about remediation of the issues and to track and report on progress, and follow up on the verification of the issues to be closed. Additionally you will have the opportunity to take ownership for different capabilities that support the F&R DIM way of working and the DIM process.
You will directly contribute to the following deliverables:
• Mapped to a Finance & Risk use case(s) and/or reporting department and being responsible for the facilitation of the data issues within those use cases and/or reporting departments through the DIM process before raising, at raising, transferring, indirect solution support, consumption, and verification of implemented solutions
• Having full oversight of your use case(s) data issues, providing insights and updates to Report and Model stakeholders on their issues, within the scope of the DIM process
• Becoming a subject matter expert on your use case(s) for which you are the SPOC, growing your content knowledge as much as your process knowledge
• Educate and coach Report and Model Owner stakeholders on the DIM process, ensuring data issues are raised with a high standard to be quickly brought forward for solutioning
• Timely transferred data issues to the delivering Data Domain for solutioning
• Status & progress reporting on Finance & Risk issues to Management
• Proposals for improvements on the DIM process, and implementation of the same
