This opportunity is a chance to work on human behaviour innovation the business lines of Royal HaskoningDHV. During your internship you will work on exploring research questions in human behaviour. Together with our core team, you will be instrumental in crafting compelling content that engages our colleagues and clients. Developing templates for our methodology is part of your daily work. You will work directly with the core team behind the knowledge group. Your work will contribute to the development of our methodologies impacting a variety of sectors. What you will do as a Human Behaviour Intern
s a Human Behaviour Intern at Royal HaskoningDHV, your main responsibilities will be centred around conducting research and creating content on methodologies, insights, and projects in the field of Human Behaviour. You will:
Conduct Research and create our RHDHV Human Behaviour Portfolio:
Deep dive into the use of human behaviour research methods within engineering and consulting projects. Explore how and what type of approaches are being used within RHDHV projects to improve solutions based on human driven insights. Research market developments, trends, and best practices. Gather insights, methods and key projects and combine these to set up the overall RHDHV approaches for using human behaviour insights in designing the best possible solutions.Create Content and stimulate interaction in the Community:
Develop compelling, informative content that reflects your research findings and the knowledge group insights, co-write with core team members, and deliver publishable content to be used internally and externally. Improve our internal website on the human behaviour knowledge group. Develop and add new content, keep the agenda updated and stimulate discussion and interaction with the community via our Viva Engage channel.In addition to these key responsibilities, you will also:
Develop Case Studies:
Craft detailed case studies of past projects across business lines to highlight how we use Human Behaviour insights to develop best solutions for our clients.Work on a portfolio of methods:
Develop a portfolio of methodologies used within RHDHV to collect and use human behaviour insights in our projects.Prepare for Meetings:
Assist in organizing and preparing for meetings, ensuring efficient and productive discussions.Engage in Discussions:
Actively participate in the core team discussions about new developments in, sharing insights and learning from experienced professionals.This role offers a comprehensive opportunity to delve into the dynamic world of engineering and consultancy and the use of human driven methods in designing the best possible solutions.
About the team

You will become part of the core team managing the knowledge group on human behaviour. Knowledge groups within Royal HaskoningDHV are informal cross business line collaborations to stimulate knowledge development and sharing. The core team consists of representatives of all business lines allowing for access to projects and ways of working in various sectors. The knowledge group is led by Marije Teerling, leading professional experience management. She has well over 20 years of experience in science, consulting, and business in the field of experience management. She will be your supervisor and support you in becoming a human behaviour expert. The core team will rotate your daily supervision to make sure you will experience all business lines.

- Creativity. Skilled in creative content creation and idea generation for engaging CX strategies.
- Communication skills. Excellent written and verbal communication skills for effectively presenting research findings and content.
- Teamwork. Ability to work collaboratively in a team environment, contributing to group discussions and projects.
- Basic understanding of human behavior methodologies, design thinking, social psychology and/or customer experience management.
Besides that, we expect the following to apply to you:
- Educational Level: Currently enrolled in the third or fourth year of a bachelor's or master's degree program, preferably in Business Administration, Industrial Design, Media, one of the Social Sciences (e.g. Social psychology) or a related field.
- Language Proficiency: Fluent in English and preferably also in Dutch, both written and spoken.
