As a Senior Relationship Manager in the Central Valley region you will play a key role in promoting Rabo AgriFinance to farmers and producers in one of the most productive agricultural regions in the world. Your role on the team will be to acquire new and work with existing clients to meet their needs while also achieving the objectives of the region.

You and Your Job:
As a Senior Relationship Manager you will be successful as you develop meaningful relationships with your clients and prospects. Having a deep level of knowledge in the dairy and tree nut industries will help you add value to client relationships while also assisting partners in the Central Valley region.
Senior Relationship Managers are responsible for acquiring new customers while expanding or retaining existing customers. As a senior member of the team you will also be asked to coach others in the support of meeting customer needs. It is the expectation is that the Sr. RM is the face of Rabo AgriFinance to the regional market while being comfortable introducing teammates to ensure a positive experience for customers.
Job Responsibilities:
MARKETING GOALS
The Senior RM will have annual goals with the overriding goal to grow their portfolio and bottom-line profit annually. They are also responsible for identifying and presenting marketing opportunities within their assigned territory to grow the Bank's brand.
LOAN PORTFOLIO GROWTH
Target the top 25% of producers to provide banking solutions to their financial needs. Inherent in this goal is the responsible to identify profitable potential customers who are sustainable/growing and have a risk profile that is acceptable to the Bank.
NETWORK DEVELOPMENT
To annually grow your portfolio requires direct contact with existing customers to gain new client referrals. The Senior RM is expected to develop new customer referrals by building relationships with appraisers, attorneys, CPA's, and other industry COI's. This includes bank brand building by attending trade shows, site visits, ag-related seminars, local public events and other ag-related events to promote the Bank effectively.
OTHER DUTIES
Actively mentors Portfolio Managers and Financial Analysts in customer relationship building. Performs all other duties as assigned.

- Bachelor's degree or a minimum of 7+ years of ag lending experience.
- Superb knowledge of the ag industries in your area.
- Ability to relate and communicate effectively with external and internal clients.
- Strong passion for agriculture.
- Sound understanding of agricultural credits.
- Ability to work effectively as a team.
- Ability to travel regionally, more than 50%.
