YOUR ROLE
Lead the Region towards the goals determined by the Group in terms of QHSE.
Participates to the elaboration of the Group strategy on QHSE along with Global QHSE Team.
Ensures that CEVA QHSE strategy is deployed and adhere to within the region with the support of QHSE country managers. Responsible to provide a monthly vision of QHSE performance of the region to the regional head and to the QHSE global team and to ensure that CAPA plans are implemented whenever necessary.
The position ensures as well that the QHSE governance, standards, systems and framework is robust, strategically aligned with Global Governance and business oriented, not limited to the below:
- ISO 9001 (Quality)
- ISO 45001 (Safety)
- ISO 14001 (Environment)
- AS9120 (Aerospace)
- GDPMD (Medical Devices)
- GDP (Medical Devices, Pharmaceutical and Healthcare sector)
- HALAL (Regulatory Religious Food Safety)
- HACCP / ISO 22000 (Food Safety)
Promote CEVA initiatives in QHSE achievement and excellence in operations by providing support, guidance and assistance to Countries with in-depth knowledge.
Ensure a consistent cascade of QHSE objectives, targets and performance measurement with a targeted approach to improvement.
WHAT ARE YOU GOING TO DO?
- Ensure that Global QHSE Strategy has been enforced and adhered to in the Region
- Be the go-between (GHO/countries) to ensure that the IMS is implemented and adhered to in the Region
- Ensure full compliance regarding Customer Quality and Supplier Quality management governance in the Region
- Ensure Country risk profiles are created, understood and appropriate action plans are in place to mitigate risk
- Accountable for the collation and verification of accurate QHSE data records and KPI reporting to both Region and Global teams
- Deliver regional QHSE performance review to the regional management team and Global QHSE team on a regular basis and ensure actions plans exist and are followed-up
- Ensure all incidents and non-conformities are investigated thoroughly with root cause fully understood and action agreed to improve
- Contribute to create a QHSE culture, support countries in the proper staffing and sizing of their team
- Ensure Countries wide compliance to QHSE Standards (ISO 9001, GDP, ISO 14001, and ISO45001) and that CEVA Certifications are kept as per Global Governance.
- Coordinate regional plans on:
- Audit Program (external, internal)
- Training on selected QHSE topics
- QHSE Tools to sustain IMS (Intelex, digitalized induction, etc.)
- Implementation and compliance to ISO standards
- Country QHSE cross-audits
WHAT ARE WE LOOKING FOR?
Education & Qualifications
- University Degree or equivalent qualification
Experience
- 10 years' experience in QHSE Management Systems implementation and maintenance within Logistics, consumer goods, medical devices or Pharma of which at least 5 years in a managerial role.
- Experience in logistics industry is an added advantage
- Ability to work under pressure, tight deadlines, independently or as a team player
