As part of the Odyssey Hotel Group, The Den in 's-Hertogenbosch and The Rebyl in Nijmegen offer distinct and dynamic experiences.
The Den, a Tribute Portfolio Hotel by Marriott, opened in 2022 with 160 rooms, five meeting spaces, and exceptional dining, including the popular Current Rooftop Restaurant & Bar-a landmark offering stunning views of the city and a vibrant cocktail scene.
The Rebyl, also a Tribute Portfolio Hotel by Marriott, in Nijmegen is a bold and rebellious hotel, blending creativity with a youthful, daring spirit. It's a space where innovation and ambition come together, attracting guests who thrive on the unconventional.
Both hotels provide unique settings, offering exciting opportunities for a Cluster Groups & Events Coordinator to create unforgettable experiences across these two distinctive venues.
THE POSITION
As a Cluster Groups & Events Coordinator for The Den and The Rebyl, you will oversee the conceptualization, planning, and execution of a wide range of events, from corporate functions and weddings to festivals and trade shows. This role demands creativity, exceptional organizational skills, and the ability to manage multiple tasks simultaneously while delivering an outstanding guest experience. Please note the office location is in 's-Hertogenbosch.
YOUR KEY RESPONSIBILITIES
- Create exciting event ideas, themes, and objectives that align with the client's needs and preferences.
- Manage budgeting, sponsorship activities, and logistical requirements to execute a successful event.
- Coordinate with vendors, negotiate contracts, create schedules, and work with volunteers to ensure everything runs smoothly.
- Develop marketing strategies, promotional materials, and media coverage that help attract attendees to the event.
- Ensure staff and volunteer tasks are assigned and executed effectively to meet the event's needs.
- Prioritize safety and risk management to create a secure and hazard-free environment for attendees.

WHAT YOU'LL BRING
- Background in hospitality;
- Solid understanding of different project management techniques;
- The ability to understand and follow company policies and procedures;
- Excellent verbal and written communication skills in English and preferably Dutch;
- Passion for the marketing industry and its best practices.
