In this vibrant environment you will be working together with colleagues from different departments e.g. Production, management and procurement. You will become a part of the Supply Chain team and as such will be responsible for inventory, transportation and logistic processes. Below you will find a selection of your duties:
- Manage inventory;
- Analyzing transportation costs in order for them to be cost effective;
- Organizing & coordinating transportation between product locations and warehouses;
- Perfecting the internal logistic processes;
- Liaison for our logistics partners.
While at work you will also propose and implement improvements in order to optimize the supply chain.
This challenging job is for 32-40 hours per week and you will work during the regular office hours. You have the opportunity to work from home one day a week.
Functie-eisenYou are proactive, collaborative, independent and have a results-oriented mindset. In addition you have an eye for detail and a strong sense of responsibility.
As a Junior Supply Chain Specialist you are:
- In the possession of a University degree in Supply Chain, Operations Management, Business Administration, or a related field;
- An expert when it comes to Excel;
- Fluent in English (both written and spoken).
And is it a plus if:
- You speak Dutch;
- Have experience with an ERP system;
- Have knowledge of customs matters;
- Interested in working with e-commerce platform and accounting software.
You are available at short notice and live in the area of Utrecht, Gouda, Zeist, Nieuwegein or Gorinchem.
