nhow Amsterdam RAI is a social and multicultural hub for globetrotters, business travelers, and Amsterdam locals. The iconic building, facing the various wind directions, symbolizes the melting pot the city of Amsterdam has always been and continues to be. The impressive 91-metre-tall building is located in the Zuidas district, right next to the RAI Amsterdam Convention Centre, offering its guests a dynamic headquarters and home base.
Our F&B department is large and vibrant. It consists of our roof-top Latin American Selva restaurant and Sonora cocktail bar, a large breakfast operation, serving of up to 700 covers a day, banqueting operation in one of the 10 meeting rooms, the Moana bar, the Room Service, the store, handling all daily deliveries into the hotel, and the staff canteen. The scope of this position is to work behind the scenes and support the F&B Director in managing back of house operations of the food & beverage department such as profitability reporting, cost analysis, stock take managements, new employee admin, and much more.
What are you going to do?
Daily reconciliation of F&B financial transactions;
Manage all administration related to new F&B colleagues incl. Onboarding, IT systems set-up, payroll, etc.;
Actively involved in monthly inventories, generating monthly stock reports, and following up on those;
Following up with suppliers on invoices and reconciliations;
Coordinating equipment rentals with external suppliers;
Managing the POS system for each of the outlets;
Working on menu design for the different outlets;
Follow up on guest surveys;
Helping team in the follow ups on F&B group reservations with clients
