IKEA Leeds are looking to welcome a Warehouse Sales Assistant to join our hard-working fulfilment team.
This is a versatile role that requires you to be both warehouse-savvy and customer-friendly. Become part of our team helping our customers find their dream furniture, all while navigating the twists and turns of our warehouse with a smile.
WHAT WE OFFER
• The Start Date of employment will be: 28th of September
• Competitive hourly rate of £12.00 per hour.
• 18 hours per week working 4 days out of 7 and 3 out of 4 weekend, evenings and weekends (both weekend days) All these contracts will receive every 4th weekend off.

WHAT YOU'LL NEED TO HAVE
• Due to health and safety regulations all applicants must be over the age of 18.
• Previous warehouse and sales experience are preferred but not essential, all you will need is the motivation to make things happen in a fast-paced environment.
• Be self-reliant and motivated, ready to work independently.
• Eager to work together as part of our team and collaborate with various departments.
• Ability to priorities and organise your workload swiftly and with attention to detail.
• Proven experience in utilising technical equipment to enhance productivity and efficiency.
WHAT YOU'LL BE DOING DAY TO DAY
• Serving customers in the warehouse with a smile, balancing both warehouse and customer-facing responsibilities.
• Manual handling and heavy lifting of various stock
• Ensure all safety protocols and regulations are followed for a secure environment for both our customers and co-workers.
• Working with systems to ensure stock availability
• Working with pump trucks and trolleys to safely and efficiently transport heavy goods within the warehouse.
