- You are enthusiastic about the media industry and its current challenges, especially tech-driven transformation
- You have 2-3 years experience and academic background in procurement
- Influencing and relationship-building skills to successfully manage internal and external stakeholders
- Communication and negotiation skills
- Strong command of English (verbal and written), Dutch would be an additional benefit
- Ability to manage conflicting priorities and work on multiple contract and projects simultaneously
- You have completed HBO or university vocational education
Vendor selection and contract negotiation:
- Collaborate with internal stakeholders to identify and define needs and requirements.
- Research and identify potential vendors who meet the required criteria. Participate in the process of selecting, evaluating, and scoring potential vendors. Prepare RFP's and other vendor documentation.
- With the support of your manager and colleagues, define, negotiate and set commercial agreements, creating business value.
- Keep in contact with internal stakeholders on contracts pre-renewal to align on budgets as well as possible changes/additions. Plan and organize regular meetings with internal stakeholders to ensure that you are up-to-date on ongoing and upcoming projects.
- Monitor contract performance, SLAs and KPIs, and identify areas for improvement. Maintain accurate records of all contract activities.
Ensure and maintain contract life-cycle processes
- Engage with the legal department to negotiate contractual agreements and act as the link between the legal department and tech partners. Maintain accurate and up-to-date records of vendor agreements and contracts.
- Ensure the contract administration process: ensure proper documentation, signatures, and filing. Ensure timelines are respected. Communicate with vendors and internal stakeholders to ensure compliance with contractual/privacy/security obligations. Provide regular reports on the status of contracts and associated obligations.
- Maintain organized record of all invoice expenses. Create purchase orders in SAP accurately and efficiently. Review and verify invoices and coordinate with internal stakeholders and finance to resolve discrepancies. Ensure that all documents related to purchasing (e.g. Purchase orders, invoices, delivery notes) are approved by the appropriate stakeholders in a timely manner.
Develop and maintain business relationships
- Build foundations for long-term relationships with our Technology partners.
- Be a partner to RTL business stakeholder ensuring timely and value for money delivery of the required software and services to drive product innovation and delivery implementations.

The Partner management team is performing the procurement for tech products and services, the end-to-end contract life cycle with tech vendors, and is responsible for maintaining qualitative partner relationships.
The team is the smart interface between external vendors and internal stakeholders (business and tech stakeholders, legal, finance), covering vendor selection, negotiations, contracting and ordering, playing an essential role in the vendor strategy for RTL's key technology platforms and IT solutions (streaming, adtech, data, software engineering, broadcast, product management, IT).
