IKEA Southampton are looking to welcome temporary Warehouse Assistants (Order Pickers) to join our hard-working fulfilment team. This is a temporary role for an initial period of 6 months.
In this role, you'll be essential in picking and preparing orders and ensuring our fulfilment unit runs smoothly. If you excel in a bustling environment and have a sharp eye for detail, we'd be thrilled to welcome you aboard.
Interviews will be planned for between 14 and 17 October. Induction date will be 09 and 10 November.
WHAT WE OFFER
• Competitive hourly rate of £12.00 per hour.
• These roles are temporary, working 20 hours a week, which includes 3 in 4 weekends.
• The hours of operation are between 06:00am and 21:30pm Monday to Saturday, and between 06:00am and 17:30pm on Sundays.

WHAT YOU NEED TO HAVE
• While previous warehouse experience is preferred, it is not essential. The key requirement is a strong motivation to excel in a fast-paced environment.
• Demonstrated ability to prioritize and organize workload efficiently, with a keen attention to detail.
• Proven experience in using technical equipment to enhance productivity and efficiency.
• Self-reliant and motivated, capable of working independently as well as collaboratively within a team.
WHAT YOU'LL BE DOING DAY TO DAY
• Picking all our click and collect orders throughout the store and handing them out to our customers.
• Working in a customer-facing environment, which means you will be happy to deliver great customer service.
• Adhere to all safety protocols and regulations to ensure a secure environment for both customers and co-workers.
