Logistic employee flowers

Driving an electric truck through our logistics center, you play a key role in our logistics services. The potted plants you sort in the morning are shipped worldwide by the afternoon!

Jouw uitdaging

Our logistic center in Naaldwijk is a bustling place where we prepare all kinds of plants for shipment. These are sold early in the morning and will be sent all over the world before the afternoon. To make this happen, we work in a diverse team of around 150 enthusiastic co-workers. Your tasks will include the following:

• Your shift starts at 06:00, after which you pick up an empty cart. This cart needs to be filled with one of our customers' orders;
• The receipts on the cart will show you where to pick up the ordered flowers;
• Using your electric truck (no license required), you drive to the specified location;
• You move the ordered flower(s) onto your cart. Once full, this cart is ready for further shipment;
• Various other tasks (such as preparing empty carts or taking away full ones).

Jouw profiel

Order picking is physically active work: Being on the move and lifting potted plants onto various carts will keep you fit and energetic. The work starts at 06:00 in the morning, and we make sure to prepare all shipments before the afternoon. During your first days of working with us we will teach you all you need to know about the work: Having experience or prior education is not necessary. Requirements for this position include:

• You're physically fit and have no trouble lifting potted plants;
• You're able to reach our logistic center in Naaldwijk by 06:00AM;
• You're at least 1.65m (5'5"ft) tall, so you can reach even the top shelves;
• You're at least 16 years old;
• You speak English at conversational level or higher;
• You live in the Netherlands and have the necessary documentation that allows you to work here;
• You're able to deliver a VOG (certificate of conduct), we will compensate the costs.

Ons aanbod

• A flexible, part-time job in the mornings; the afternoon is yours!
• A flexible, on-call contract or a contract with fixed number of hours per week (4-15 hours);
• A hourly wage of €15,43 bruto;
• A working day of 3.8 hours on average (4 workdays average 15 hours per week);
• Travel compensation of €0,23 as well as a vacation bonus;
• A plant to take home 5 times a year.

Een bos bloemen op tafel, of een plant in de tuin. Je staat er misschien niet bij stil, maar de logistieke operatie erachter is enorm. Die gaat veel verder dan de distributie alleen. Logistiek is het hart van de coöperatie. Alle producten gaan op tijd de koelcel in. 24/7 moeten de karren en fusten klaarstaan. Die we eerst reinigen in enorme machines voordat we ze kunnen gebruiken. Zo mogelijk nog complexer is de internationale logistiek. Maar wat je rol ook is, welk werk je ook doet, je geeft kleur aan de wereld en draagt bij aan een wereldwijd succes.
