The Group Brand manager will oversee brand plans, portfolio, and product management within the Jumbo Group. This role involves managing a team of brand managers and being responsible for multiple brands across various markets. Key responsibilities include launching new products, adapting existing ones, and redesign packaging. This position requires a deep understanding of the market and consumers, working closely with various teams to develop and execute both short-term and long-term.
To achieve this goal, your functions will be the following:
- Team manager: lead and inspire a team of group brand managers.
- Market and consumer insights: get full understanding of the market and the consumer preferences.
- Strategic planning: develop and execute long-term (3-year) and short-term (1-year) brand and product strategies. Implement brand strategy plans across all markets.
- Sales performance: Proactively manage and monitor sales performance, adjusting as needed. Collaborate on trade marketing, product development, innovation and local marketing and sales teams.
- Product and quality improvement: continuously initiate improvements in product quality and diversification of product assortment.
- Briefings: Prepare and coordinate briefings for product development, packaging artwork, user manuals and brand-related content.
- Training: conduct product training sessions.
- Research: support and brief qualitative and quantitative research initiatives for brands and products.
The knowledge you should bring to Jumbo Group to take our services to the next level is:
- Education: University degree in marketing, business administration, or a related field (Bachelor / Master / Diploma)
- Experience:
- Minimum of 5 years in a similar role.
- Previous team management experience.
- Strong project management skills.
- Experience managing multiple projects with deadlines.
- Affinity with Jumbo Group products; knowledge of the toy market is preferred.
- Fluent in English.
