Vacaturebeschrijving Over de functieIn this role, you will work with large 15 kg blocks of cheese, including the aged cheese rind. Have you ever wondered why the cheese slices in the supermarket have no rind? That's your work!
As a Cheese Shaver at Uniekaas, you actually perform two key roles:

• Cheese Mover: During the first half of your shift, you'll be responsible for lifting the 15 kg cheese blocks from the shelf to the pallets.
• Shaver: In the second half of your shift, you'll carefully place the cheese blocks on your adjustable workbench. Using a specialized shaving machine, you'll meticulously remove the rinds, then neatly place the shaved cheese blocks on another pallet, ready for further processing.
