IKEA Sheffield would like to welcome a Warehouse Team Manager to lead our amazing In-store Fulfilment Operations Team. (In IKEA we call this a Fulfilment Operations Team leader).
As our Warehouse Team Manager, you will lead a dedicated Picking team, ensuring that online orders are processed efficiently and accurately. Your role will be essential in assigning job duties, setting clear objectives, and fostering a collaborative environment where every team member thrives. With your leadership, you'll not only manage daily operations but also coach and develop our operational teams, empowering them to reach their full potential.

• Competitive starting salary £26739.40 per annum, based on competence & experience.
• 39 Hours working 5 days per week, alternate weekends off, working hours are between 6.00am - 9.30pm.

WHAT YOU'LL NEED TO HAVE
• Relevant experience and proven performance in retail and/or logistics role or a university degree (Economics, Logistics, Supply Chain Management).
• Experience in leading people in a warehouse setting with proven record of successful leadership delivering both business result and people development.
• Proven experience in working through others, set priorities, delegate responsibility, and give open and honest feedback.
• Business-minded approach with a clear customer focus and ability to meet agreed budgets and goals.
• Ability to implement structural way of working within the area of responsibility.
WHAT YOU'LL BE DOING DAY TO DAY
• Lead the Fulfilment Operations Co-workers in the assigned area of responsibility to secure the picking of orders to meet customer demands.
• Take direct lead with identifying, recruiting, retaining, and developing the many talents in the Fulfilment Operations team, to secure a diverse, high performing team that can execute its assigned responsibilities with confidence and secure the future succession.
• Maintain and ensure a clean, organised, and safe working environment across the unit, while guiding Fulfilment Operations co-workers to adhere to the IKEA Code of Conduct, internal regulations, and local health, safety, security, and environmental legislation.
• Secure effective, qualitative, and efficient daily Fulfilment Operations within the assigned area of responsibility by contributing to goal achievement, people, shift and equipment planning.
• Support the implementation of the Customer Fulfilment Sustainability agenda in the assigned unit operations environment.
