You will facilitate engineering alignment, promote modern software engineering practices, and lead engineering initiatives across teams.
Your role involves collaborating with stakeholders to understand business requirements, designing and architecting solutions, and providing SAP Security & GRC guidance. You will ensure solutions align with industry standards, troubleshoot issues, and effectively communicate with technical and business teams.
You will also analyze the current technology landscape to suggest improvements and anticipate future challenges. With a deep understanding of SAP and IKEA's business processes, you will architect scalable, secure solutions while adhering to compliance and security principles.
Key responsibilities include problem-solving, stakeholder management, and supporting new technology adoption. Your contributions will drive innovation, efficiency, and continuous improvement within the organization.
Qualifications:
15+ years of experience in SAP Identity & Access Management (SAP Security & GRC).
Proven track record as an architect with strong results.
Expertise in SAP Fiori, S4 HANA, Segregation of Duties, and IT General Controls.
Strong vendor evaluation and communication skills.
Leadership experience and familiarity with new-generation SAP development.
What you'll be doing day to day
As Sr. SME, you are responsible for maintaining the technology roadmap and aligning design, operations, and support across sub-domains, ensuring consistent development of products and services.You will ensure technical solutions fit the broader IKEA ecosystem, aligning with Solution Architecture to integrate products from a holistic perspective while ensuring scaling, performance, and support.
Stay updated on industry trends and evolving technologies, evaluate existing solutions, and recommend improvements.
Act as a senior representative of technology internally and externally, with hands-on engineering responsibilities and leadership of teams or suppliers.
Strong interpersonal, stakeholder management, and communication skills are essential, along with leadership in line with IKEA values.
Strategy and Roadmap:
Maintain the technology strategy and roadmap, renew design and solutions, and build POCs for new technologies.
Collaborate with Solution Architects, Enterprise Architects, and Management to align on strategy and priorities.
Support management in tactical and strategic initiatives.
Technology & Functional Expertise:
Provide technical expertise on architecture, Segregation of Duties, and solution capability improvements.
Define and promote architectural standards and strategies, overseeing design, build, and deployment.
Make recommendations on strategic direction for technology integration and platforms, including legacy systems.
Advise on functional and technical approaches for systems integration.
Problem-Solving and Decision-Making:
Apply critical thinking to solve complex issues, build or reuse existing solutions, and make data-driven decisions.
Lead problem-solving within the team, promoting innovation and a can-do mindset.
Handle high-pressure situations with sound judgment and resourcefulness.
Stakeholder Management:
Collaborate with architects and business stakeholders to adopt new technologies and maximize value.
Create alignment across Ingka organizations and ensure business needs are addressed within digital strategies.
