In the role of Operator 2D/3D Welding, you will work in one of the value stream departments of Cytiva, namely 2D/3D. You will assist in the production of infusion bags and plastic bags used in medication packaging. This is done under highly sterile conditions, therefore the work takes place in a cleanroom. The bags are first cut to size using a cutting plotter, after which you begin your work. You securely weld the bags using heat electrodes while following the correct protocols. Each bag must be 100% airtight, which you verify by ultimately inflating air into the bag, also known as the "100% check". Additionally, you ensure that necessary components such as tubes, hoses, and nozzles are securely welded onto loose foils. No fire is involved, only heat. Quality takes precedence over quantity, so there is no time pressure. Your performed tasks are documented according to GDP guidelines. The working days and hours are Monday to Friday in two shifts. One week you work from 06:00 - 15:00, and the other week from 15:00 - 24:00. This is an exciting role in which you can further develop yourself, eventually leading to highly specialized tasks.
