Your Tasks
We are looking for a Product Content Specialist to join our Marketplace team. The successful candidate will play a crucial role in our ongoing efforts to deliver superior content and enhance the customer experience across our webshop-marketplace environment.
Responsibilities:
- Manage and improve product and category content of marketplace products
- Prioritize and implement optimization requests
- Ensure timely implementation of backlog items to meet business needs and project deadlines.
- Conduct regular checks to ensure the completeness of mandatory and legally required product information, addressing any discrepancies promptly.
- Perform quality control checks on product content, images, specifications, and other content to maintain high standards and consistency.
- Develop and maintain process documentation, including how-to guides, work instructions, guidelines, and templates to facilitate efficient operations and knowledge sharing within the team.
Who are you?
- Bachelor's degree in Marketing, Communications, Business Administration, or a related field.
- 1-3 years of hands-on experience in content management, preferably within the e-commerce or retail industry.
- Exceptional attention to detail and adept at managing multiple tasks simultaneously.
- Outstanding written and verbal communication skills, enabling effective collaboration with cross-functional teams, including marketing, sales, customer care, and external stakeholders.
- Knowledge of Microsoft Office Suite, SharePoint, and content management systems such as STEP, Contentful, and Cliplister, alongside other relevant software applications, is a plus
- Basic knowledge of SEO principles to optimize content for search engines.
- Strong project management skills to effectively prioritize and execute tasks within deadlines.
- Understanding of user experience (UX) principles to enhance the customer journey and overall user satisfaction.
What do you bring?
- HBO/WO level of education, in the direction of Marketing or Business Administration / supplemented with additional courses in digital marketing.
- Minimum 2 years of relevant work experience in content management
- Specific knowledge and skills required for the respective position include proficiency in Microsoft Office Suite, experience with content management platforms, and familiarity with SEO principles
- Perfect communication in French, Dutch and English.
