About the team
Within the central Marketing function, the Brand & Category Marketing Team is responsible for unlocking scalable brand growth in priority markets while driving growth and engagement amongst buyers and sellers for our 4 Business Units: Collectables, Luxury, Art & Interiors.
The Brand & Category Marketing team is composed of a few disciplines: Research & Strategy, Campaigns & Activations, Social Media, Creative, Category Marketing, Partnerships and Events.
What you’ll do
As Brand Marketing Intern, Social Media & Content, you will be submerged in the world of social media, supporting our day-to-day operations and much, much more. You will work on exciting brand projects developing your social media skills in research and data, strategy & execution, content creation & optimisation, analysis & reporting.
Your tasks will include but are not limited to:
- Supporting creative briefings across our key channels
- Owning the social media calendar, scheduling and posting
- Supporting our Social Media Manager with community management and moderation
- Supporting our Social Media Manager on paid advertising
- Ideating and assisting with content creation
- Supporting the coordination of influencer campaigns
- Collecting data for our monthly, quarterly and yearly social media reports and assist with compiling learnings
- Participating in team meetings and ensure notes are taken, follow ups are sent to relevant stakeholders
Who you are
- You must be enrolled at a Dutch university during the internship period. Ideally, you are in your final year of study with a degree in Marketing, Business, Communications or a related field
- You have experience in international environments and have collaborated with people from multiple countries and cultures
- Strong interpersonal skills and confidence engaging with stakeholders at different levels of a company
- Proactive, detail-oriented, and able to work independently
- Excellent verbal and written communication skills
- Fluent in English. Additional European languages are a plus
You’re available to start no later than October 2024, with a minimum commitment of 5-6 months

Our Offices and Way of Working
Our vibrant offices in Amsterdam, Paris and Lisbon are designed to inspire and connect. Most Catawikians are within commuting distance of one of our offices and enjoy the flexibility of a hybrid work model. This means we typically ask you to be in the office 2 out of 5 days, roughly 40% of your working time, to collaborate and connect with your colleagues. Of course, if the job description specifies that the role is 100% remote—such as for certain expert or sales positions—then that arrangement will apply.
