Group Treasury has the responsibility to ensure that ING's capital, funding and liquidity positions are adequate at all times, commensurate with ING's consolidated businesses and their plans, both in a business as usual situation as well as in stressed situations. It is acting as ING's window to the market to hedge market risks, to raise both long and short term debt instruments and to actively manage ING's high quality liquid asset buffer.
We are looking for an Senior Analyst to strengthen the Balance Sheet & Capital Management department within Group Treasury.
The team
Capital Management is tasked to optimize ING's capital and debt position in order to meet regulatory requirements, while supporting business growth, ensuring coupon payments and rewarding shareholders in line with ING's dividend policy. The department is the gatekeeper of all internal capital flows and acts, in close cooperation with other departments within Group Treasury, as the execution arm of the board on market transactions to secure the capital supply necessary for implementing all strategic initiatives.
Furthermore, the department advises the Board on dividend policy, capital allocation, contingency planning, cost of capital as well as many other strategic priorities.
Roles and Responsibilities
You will be working in the Capital Management team, where your role will be to be the linking pin between Head Office and the various locations. You provide functional guidance on capital related topics, and report frequently on progress made (on the ICAAP Framework, local capitalization, local Capital Plan, Economic Capital etc). Next to that you will be exposed to regulatory topics and other ad hoc topics. .

Your profile
Knowledge and experience:
Master's degree in finance or econometrics, engineering or mathematics
+6 yrs of work experience in Risk Management, Finance or Treasury
Knowledge on ING systems (MASS, Vortex) is required
IT-savvy and proficient in MS Office (especially MS Excel)
Previous experience in participating or running projects
Knowledge on CRR
Knowledge of risk models
Competencies:
