This is how you contribute as a Warehouse Team Leader

You take your team to a higher level and meet customer expectations. You do this by coaching your team members one-on-one and analyzing their performance. This allows you to flawlessly optimize processes and discover bottlenecks. In addition, you provide work instructions and the further development of your team, but you also respond to ad-hoc questions from our customer. You work in weekly shifts, from 06:00 to 15:00 and from 15:00 to 00:00.You directly manage a maximum of 20 Warehouse Operators in our outbound Picking & Shipping department. As a Team Leader, you enable these colleagues to work even more efficiently, because you:

• Gain insight into which processes are running smoothly and know where the bottlenecks are. You register the performance level of your colleagues and ensure that they follow training courses.
• Create reports and obtain results from the warehouse management system.
• Guarantee safety on our work floor.
• Discuss improvement proposals with the Operations Manager, Shift Manager and keep your fellow Team Leaders informed.
• Organize your team. This means that you:
• Coach your team members, taking into account their ambitions and developments.
• Conduct appraisal and performance interviews.
• Conduct absenteeism / reintegration - and other interviews.
• Ensure the right staffing. You always act from a can-do mentality.
• Ensures good cooperation with your fellow team leaders.
• Schedules training hours and keeps track of time registration and personnel changes.

If we summarise you briefly, you are very strong in your communication (also in English), you stand firm in your shoes and you are stress-resistant. With these great qualities, you are able to manage your team and get the best out of them. You keep a cool head while leading your team and achieving your targets. You are a rational thinker and as a Warehouse Teamleader you also have:

• We are looking for candidates with at least an Intermediate vocational education (MBO) at level 4 or higher or a Higher professional education (HBO) or University of Applied Sciences degree.
• At least one year of experience as a team leader, cooperating foreman or forewoman.
• Feeling with Microsoft Office programs (such as Excel and PowerPoint) and Warehouse management systems, so that you can create reports and analyses.
