Who you are
You have an extensive knowledge of Real Estate markets and 5 plus years of experience of complex transactions in the retail-, logistics- or office real estate. You have international deal experience and an understanding of cultural differences. You are fluent in English and have extensive knowledge in Mergers and Acquisitions with proven history of financial, deal structuring and legal aspects applicable to acquisitions and disposals.You can deliver tasks and collaborate effectively, with the purpose of supporting large and complex acquisition projects in an international environment. You have experience with due diligence, transaction documentation and financial modelling. You are enthusiastic about real estate and have strong financial and analytical skills with the ability to build and analyse any relevant real estate valuation. Essential to the role is to build and analyse investment models and lead due diligence processes.
You demonstrate good judgment, high level of integrity, trustworthiness and maturity (independence); you can prioritize and take sound and common-sense decisions. Collaboration in a constantly evolving and multicultural context fuels your enthusiasm for shared achievements. You respect your team members and provide your best for the company.

What you'll be doing day to day
This role is as part of the Real Estate Investments portfolio within Ingka Investments which has a global mandate to invest in core mixed-use real estate in prime locations and large distribution & logistics centers securing future cash flows for long term. The team is small and the portfolio targets 1-2 complex acquisitions per year. The Investment Manager will support further development of a portfolio of prime Real Estate Investments, linked closely to the Ingka Group and IKEA retail's global expansion strategy.More specifically, this means you will:
• Support real estate acquisitions together with Portfolio Manager and Senior Investment Managers in Ingka Investments
• Build and analyse investment models for real estate acquisition purposes
• Support the acquisition process and specifically take responsibility for due diligence process and transaction documentation flow
• Secure the handover of an acquisition from a financial perspective (e.g. Take care of the NAV statement, closing accounts and internal finance agreements)
• Understand the risks, opportunities and performance of real estate assets in order to optimise the value of the acquisition projects
• Always acting with the purpose to support the IKEA core business and optimise the value for the INGKA Group as a whole
