THE POSITION
As Front Office Manager at The Rebyl Nijmegen, you are responsible for the Front Office team. This means that you will lead the team, receive all guests at the desk and provide the guests with efficient, polite and professional service. You know exactly how to provide luxurious service and create a true experience for all guests every day. You are very guest-oriented and act proactively at all times. You will be the main point of contact for all guest requests and challenges and responsible for following up on them. You are fluent, professional and can communicate assertively in Dutch and English with guests and colleagues. You have a positive attitude and are proud of your job.
YOUR MAIN RESPONSIBILITIES
- Supporting, training, and overseeing the Front Office team.
- Ensuring that all tasks related to guests are handled accurately and on time to improve the guest experience.
- Ensure that all team members are trained in FLS (Front Office and Lobby Management Software).
- Handle complaints and special requests from guests.
- Review guest reviews and feedback, and take corrective action if necessary.
- Create schedules for human resources services and manage other HR-related tasks.
- Maintain an orderly appearance in the reception hall.
- Ensure compliance with company policies, brand standards, and security requirements.
- Contribute to the control and responsibility for the day-to-day operations of the department.
- Ensuring good communication between all departments and the Front Office to better serve our guests and achieve a consistent positive outcome for the department's objectives.

- Have a passion for order and a structured environment;
- Being a team player and having a proactive attitude;
- Excelling in communication and interpersonal relationships.
WHAT YOU BRING WITH YOU
- At least a bachelor's degree at the university level;
- At least 2 years of experience in a similar position;
- Excellent knowledge of both English, both written and verbal, and preferably Dutch;
- Excellent organizational and leadership skills;
- Excellent communication and decision-making skills;
- Diplomatic, respectful and supportive of company policies;
- Able to work under pressure, prioritize and meet deadlines;
- Knowledge of Opera PMS and Marriot Systems is needed, as Marsha and GuestVoice is desired.
