Picnics central team is build up out of 1000 talented individuals spread across three main locations: Amsterdam, Paris and Düsseldorf. The People Operations team consists of 15 HR Business Partners and 20 people admins that take full responsibility for all HR processes and personal development & organizational challenges of everyone working in our operations (fulfilment, last mile and customer service). Currently, Picnic’s Dutch operations counts 10 thousand active employees..
As the People Operations Team lead for the Netherlands, you’ll hold a key position ensuring an employee-centric and smooth HR operations. You'll develop the team of HR BP's and Admins, optimize processes, and ensure compliance. You'll shape and improve the employee journey across different operational teams, and design development tracks for our talent. Your leadership skills, and understanding of people and HR, will make a real impact on our business.
🎯 What you’ll do
- Guide, develop and support the team of HR BPs by conducting check-ins and bi-annual reviews
- Align with internal stakeholders like the international analyst team, and people director, and manage external stakeholders like external payroll partners, occupational health service, or labour inspection
- Initiate and drive people-related initiatives, and implement proactive solutions
- Provide insightful data to guide decision-making, and ensure that the organization is structured to achieve business objectives
- Improve employee and team lead journeys (including staffing, onboarding, learning & development, and rotation processes)
- Manage talent to ensure the right people are in the right roles
- Set-up HR shared service center
Your base location is the Picnic office in Amsterdam. Still, since many of the team work across the country you are expected to regularly visit fulfilment centres in Utrecht, Rotterdam area, Apeldoorn, Eindhoven and Heerenveen.
⭐ About you
- You have a relevant Master's degree
- You have 6 to 8 years of experience with HR, preferably as HR Lead, or strategy/organizational consultant
- Your experience in a start-up/scale-up environment is a pre
- You are ready to lead a team, and have a passion for technology and people
- You know how to manage projects, and thrive in an operational environment
- You understand Human Resource disciplines and your knowledge in employment law is a pre
- You speak fluent English and Dutch
