We are looking for a responsible, proactive and hands-on European Fulfilment Manager to lead the operations of our fulfilment warehouse in the Netherlands. You will be responsible for the B2B and B2C fulfilment for the region, from single shipments to shipments consisting of multiple pallets. The daily focus is on personalising, packing and dispatching orders purchased via our ecommerce platform, Not Another Bill, and our corporate branch, Bespokely. Each purchase must be personalised to an extremely high standard, whilst ensuring that each and every parcel is shipped out to our customers or clients in good time. A strong attention to detail, an appreciation for creativity and design, and an aptitude for efficient task prioritisation, operations and logistics are a must.
You’ll be reporting directly to the Head of Production, who is based in London, and manage a small team of two, which you will help to grow in size as we approach the peak festive period.
The successful candidate will combine strong leadership with a clear initiative and an ability to adapt to a range of different tasks. This will be from loading pallets, to operating an engraving machine, to hiring staff and liaising with account managers on their fulfilment needs. You will exemplify exceptional interpersonal skills and have a passion for operational business development. Previous experience within Ecommerce is preferable, but we also welcome applications from those within the retail sector.

Tasks
- Lead the team with a can-do attitude: allocating tasks, creating new efficiencies, and setting the tone for a positive and motivated working environment.
- Personalise products using our specialist machinery, this could be embossing a phone case with a customer’s initials, or using an embroidery machine to sew a bespoke logo onto a branded jumper.
- Ensure that all orders are personalised to a high standard, making sure to conduct quality checks across each level of fulfilment.
- Guarantee that all parcels are shipped out within an appropriate turnaround time.
- Effectively manage the team, giving ad hoc feedback, constructive guidance and conduct staff appraisals.
- Manage stock handling via our inventory platform, Unleashed, and conduct stock checks to ensure accurate reporting.
- Provide operational support to the Customer Service team by ensuring that all escalated complaints are handled swiftly.
- Support the Sourcing Manager in ad-hoc local sourcing when required.
- Lead the hiring structure and interview process for new staff members. With assistance from the Head of Production and UK team.
- Identify where staff training is necessary and impart your managerial experience and guidance when needed.
- Ownership of Fulfilment KPIs and reporting for the region.
- Display a keen initiative to maintain an orderly and clean working environment.
- Liaise across borders with our UK team, this will include meeting with the Managing Director, Founder and Heads of Departments to report on the intricacies of the Netherlands operation and feedback on findings, proposing changes with a solution-based attitude.
- Demonstrate a trustworthy nature, making sure to prioritise a high-level of responsibility across every task from locking premises to delivering large projects.
Requirements
- Right to work in the Netherlands
- 3+ years’ experience in a managerial role with experience hiring a team
- A high level of spoken and written English
- An aptitude for spoken and written Dutch
- Valid & up to date passport for travel purposes
- Strong interpersonal skills
- Exemplary leadership competence
- Ability to delegate tasks and provide constructive feedback
- Flexible and adaptable nature
- Task success oriented and motivated to achieve higher levels of daily fulfilment

Desirable:
- Previous experience in Embroidery, Monogramming, UV Paint, Engraving (Any or all disciplines)
- Experience using Adobe suite
- Familiarity with Project Management systems/software (we use Monday) and Inventory Management systems/software (we use Unleashed)
- Experience using Shopify
- Experience using Monday
- Experience in the fast-growth and/or creative industries where no two days are the same
