Tasks
As a Junior Financial Controller at kinfill, you will be entrusted with the crucial responsibility of managing the financial administration and ensuring smooth financial operations. From processing purchase and sales invoices to handling bank statements, your attention to detail will be paramount. You will play an active role in addressing inquiries related to overdue invoices and proposing payment solutions. Moreover, your expertise will contribute to maintaining accurate VAT processing and preparing weekly reports. Your proactive mindset will be valued as you continuously seek opportunities for process improvements. Given kinfill's current phase, numerous areas can be improved and established. There are many opportunities for shaping the role and growth within the position, allowing you to expand your skills and take on multiple tasks. In this capacity, you will collaborate with a financial and business controller and work alongside accountants for tax filings and the preparation of annual financial statements.
Responsibilities:
- Taking care of the whole financial administration
- Processing the purchase invoice into the accounting system
- Following up on questions about overdue invoices
- Make payment proposals to the owner
- Processing the selling invoices
- Contact customers when their invoice is overdue
- Processing the bank statements
- Making sure the VAT is processed correctly
- Preparing weekly reports
- Make preparations for the month-end closure and reporting
- Proactively searching for improvements within the financial processes
- Advise the Financial/Business Controller and other members of the team when asked and on their own initiative
Requirements
Requirements:
- HBO/WO education (Finance & Control or Accountancy for example)
- 1 to 2 years experience in a similar role
- Good communication skills
- Being accurate and precise
- Have a strong analytic skill
- Experience with Exact Online and/or Basecone is a pre
- Being able to work independently
- Have a critical look at the current processes
- Good knowledge of Excel
