This opportunity requires the candidate to be currently enrolled in university throughout the entirety of the internship and reside in or around Amsterdam, as the role requires a minimum of four days per week on-site at our office. -

Tasks
YOUR RESPONSIBILITIES
On the HR side (30%):
- Support the team with the onboarding of new employees ;
- Maintain employees’ records in our HRIS BambooHR;
- Assist with performance management procedures;
- Assist with ad hoc HR projects;
- Keep up-to-date with the latest HR trends and best practices;
- Optimise current HR processes;
- Support on employee engagement projects.
On the Office Management side (70%)
Make sure our office is and stays a place we all love to be in;
- Organise company and team events such as game nights, drinks, birthdays;
- Keeping the kitchen and the common areas clean and presentable for clients and guests at all times;
- Ensure we have enough inventory such as stationery, equipment, groceries, coffee & place orders as necessary;
- Receive and sort incoming mail and deliveries, and manage outgoing mail;
- Assist with developing office policies and procedures, and ensure they are implemented appropriately;
- Assist with office layout planning ;
- Identify opportunities for process and office management improvements, and design and implement new systems.
Requirements
MUST HAVE REQUIREMENTS
You take initiative and are consistently proactive;
- You are highly organized and have exceptional attention to detail;
- Excellent communication and interpersonal skills;
- Strong problem-solving skills and analytical abilities;
- You are approachable and comfortable with dealing a variety of people;
- You cope very well with constantly changing processes and having to adapt how you work on a daily basis;
- You are a fluent English speaker;
- You are enrolled in university for the entire duration of the internship;
- You are available for at least 32 hours per week and live in or around Amsterdam;
- You are available for 5-6 months.
