ABN AMRO's Regulatory Advisory Expert Credit Chain position is instrumental in navigating and responding to (credit) risk management and regulatory challenges across various domains (Business, Credit Risk and Finance). You'll be part of ABN AMRO's credit chain, ensuring the best suited credit solutions for our clients, within the bank's moderate risk profile.
Your job- Interpret and translate regulations into concrete and actionable advice
- Assess the impact of opted solutions and progress of delivery on ABN AMRO's change agenda, overall compliance status, in collaboration with relevant stakeholders within the bank
- Ensure the delivery of a continuous strategic view, the progress of the execution and impact of deliverables on findings
- Report on Regulatory and Audit findings
- Maintain a high level of Regulatory and Operational knowledge of Lending products to handle complex changes, compliancy issues and findings in a timely manner
- Validate credit risk portfolio analysis and play a pivotal role in bank-wide strategic projects
- Advise risk committees on strategic changes, portfolio- and product reviews

The lending business is an important product for clients of the bank. You can contribute to this by reinforcing the credit chain and the execution of the change portfolio from various departments, within the commercial business lines, Risk Management and Finance. Here you find some examples of teams you could be working in and with:
- The Credit Transformation Office within Corporate Banking, which oversees change initiatives that are responsible for building a future-proof and robust credit landscape, important for ABN AMRO's license-to-operate. This means that regulations and risk requirements are firmly anchored in Credit Transformation Office's value chain and control framework.
- Requirements & Process Change within the 1st LoD (Financing Solutions/Corporate Banking), which seek to safeguard a Regulatory Compliant and Future proof Lending Process within Financing Solutions by a correct translation of regulations into workable and compliant Requirements and by optimising the Lenders Processes within those Regulatory boundaries
- Credit Risk Oversight & Strategy is a department within Credit Risk and consists of three teams with focus on the Client Unit segments. The Oversight & Strategy teams manage and monitor the moderate risk profile of the bank-wide credit risk portfolio with a focus on its credit quality, the credit risk strategy, and implementation of strategic objectives.
- The Finance & Risk Business GRIDs, where we deliver Finance and Risk services to its stakeholders i.e Group Finance, Risk Management, Legal and Internal Audit. These services encompass operations and change activities for many departments within the bank and regulatory authorities outside the bank.
- You have an HBO or University degree in Business Economics/Accounting/Law
- You have at least 5-7 years of relevant experience, with a strongly developed risk mindset following the three lines of defence principle.
- You have a strong understanding of lending, regulations, change, and credit risk, or a keen interest in these areas.
- You're a strong conceptual thinker with a can-do mentality, passionate about execution, and stakeholder management.
- Sharp and concise analysis with the ability to advise strategic committees.
- Deliver timely and accurate work under high pressure and act independently.

• The gross monthly salary displayed above is based on a 36-hour work week, including vacation pay and benefit budget.
• The Benefit Budget is 11% of your salary. The Benefit Budget allows you to acquire additional employment benefits. If you make no purchases or reservations in the Benefit Shop in each month, you are paid one twelfth of your Benefit Budget that month.
