As a Senior Maintenance Technician, you will be responsible for performing maintenance and repair tasks on advanced automation systems. You possess broad knowledge of mechanical, electrical, and automation systems and can resolve complex issues. In this role, you will also be responsible for mentoring junior technicians and providing technical advice to colleagues.
Duties and Responsibilities
- Perform preventive and corrective maintenance on various technical installations.
- Resolve complex mechanical and electrical faults and problems.
- Coach and mentor junior technicians and new employees.
- Conduct root cause analysis on malfunctions and recommend improvements.
- Maintain maintenance documentation and reporting.
- Communicate with the client to coordinate the maintenance schedule.
- Ensure a safe working environment by adhering to safety protocols.
Before you start, you will undergo a thorough training period. Here, you will learn how to handle the systems and structures used within the client's warehouse. You will be working at the large warehouses in the Venlo and Sevenum areas. Your training program will be led by the resident technicians and an external trainer who will teach you all aspects of the role.
The work is in two shifts from Monday to Friday, leaving your weekends free for your personal activities. As mentioned earlier, you will be working for one of the large warehouses in the area, such as DSV, Stryker, or Tommy Hilfiger. You will have a fixed workplace, which will be discussed during your application process.
Functie-eisen- You have completed a vocational education (MBO) in mechatronics, electrical engineering, or mechanical engineering.
- You have several years of experience in a role such as Maintenance Technician or Technical Service Associate and are ready for the next step.
- You are flexible and willing to work in a 2-shift schedule (Mon-Fri, 6 AM - 10 PM).
- You have expertise and can collaborate effectively with other senior technicians.
- A starting salary from €3000 based on your knowledge and experience, with an additional 8-10% extra pay for hours worked after 8:00 PM.
- You will receive a travel allowance to commute from home to work.
- You will start directly with a contract from the employer, not as a temporary employee.
- You will receive 25 vacation days based on a full-time contract.
- Monthly 8% holiday pay on top of your monthly salary.
