As a Logistics Worker you will work in the frozen food warehouse. A workplace where colleagues know each other and where you are part of an enthusiastic and committed team. Together with your colleagues you ensure that all orders to be processed that day are collected and made ready for shipment. The aim of the company is for everyone to be all-round employable within the warehouse, where they naturally ensure that everyone can get the best out of themselves. Therefore, as a Logistics Worker, you will be given various tasks and responsibilities. This is what you can expect:
- Checking that the right products have been delivered, checking for quality, quantity, packaging, etc;
- Sorting and storing the goods;
- Processing returned goods;
- Loading and unloading trucks;
- Collecting goods and loading pallets by scanner, stacking goods in such a way that there is no breakage;
- Preparing orders for shipment;
- And moving goods around the warehouse using an electric pallet truck or by using a reach truck. Should you not possess a reach truck certificate, there is the possibility to obtain one at the company.
To keep the logistics process running smoothly, the following are required:
- Good at working with colleagues, including from different departments;
- Communicative skills, customer-oriented and a proactive attitude in which you work accurately;
- You identify peculiarities and ensure the productivity standard;
- A certain degree of flexibility and stress-resistance to cope with the dynamics involved in the logistics industry;
- An MBO working and thinking level;
- Some experience working in a warehouse;
- Command of the Dutch and English language;
- And possession of a valid Dutch reach truck certificate is a plus.
