As a planner/coordinator, you are responsible for planning and coordinating multidisciplinary installation shutdowns in a safe, efficient, effective, and cost-conscious manner, incorporating both maintenance and investment projects. Additionally, you oversee the progress of shutdowns/projects, adjust daily plans, and initiate actions in case of deviations. Conducting evaluation meetings and analyzing installation shutdowns for structural improvements are also part of your responsibilities.
- Developing realistic execution plans.
- Discussing plans with internal and external stakeholders.
- Coordinating multidisciplinary shutdowns in all phases.
At our location in Delfzijl, more than 270 people work. In this location, four independent chemical factories manufacture the para-aramid polymer in multiple complex steps, which forms the basis of the high-quality aramid fiber Twaron. In a separate facility, solvents are recovered for reuse. After drying, the polymer is packaged and transported to the other major production location of Teijin Aramid in Emmen, where it is spun into Twaron.
Your profileTo be successful as a planner/coordinator, you should have demonstrable experience with (large) execution projects, with at least 5 years of relevant work experience in an industrial environment. Additionally, you should possess the following skills:
- Preferably, you have experience with planning, calculation, and reporting systems, including SAP, Primavera, and MS Office.
- You can continuously improve and apply LEAN methodologies.
- You have good verbal and written communication skills (English/German is a plus).
- You have a high level of safety awareness.
- You are willing to further develop yourself by attending job-specific training courses.
