Our team at IHCP is looking for Front Office Crew members who are excited about working in a dual branded property in The Hague! Dual branded?! How that works? Well... Two different types of hotels in one building - both part of the biggest hospitality company in the world; Marriott International!
This exciting new hotel with 311 rooms is currently built in the iconic Muzentoren in the city center of The Hague. The two brands that will be represented in this building are Moxy and Residence INN. We opened August 2022 and are NOW looking for YOU!
Brands
Moxy is all about guests enjoying a free-spirited Instagram worthy place where our guests can have a drink in our bar or play a game in our playful environment. A great way of meeting new people and enjoying life at best! Self-service is the best service but don't worry, bar is always open and 'the crew' is always on duty to serve!
Residence INN by Marriott is an extended stay brand whereby our guests stay for longer periods of time. It is up to us to make them feel at home with our family of associates! Although their room has all the facilities they need for a longer stay, our associates are always there to help and assist guests in our Residence INN Lounge - the public living and working space. This is also where our Residence INN guests can enjoy their breakfast or a cocktail or have a chat with whoever they meet!
What are my responsibilities?
Be part of our TEAM! Our Front Desk Attendant is a position with a wide range of working environments. You are the Host in the reception + lounge area, the Up & Cross Selling Specialist, the Speedy-Internet-Surfing-Problem-Solver...All that's you! You are the welcoming force in the hotel, the FUN HUNTER in WOW-ing our guests, YOUNG AT HEART suggesting guests what to do and you are PLAYFUL.
One day you will be working in our fun Moxy environment, the other day you will be giving a warm welcome to our Residence Inn guests. In this job, you get the BEST of both worlds!
In short, your day will consist of:
- Working together with the team to deliver exceptional experiences to our guests
- Process all guest check-ins by confirming reservations, assigning room, and issuing and activation room key.
- Welcome and acknowledge all guests according to company standards, anticipate and address guests' service needs; thank guests with genuine appreciation.
- Process all payment types such as room charges, cash, checks, debit or credit
- Process all check-outs including resolving and any late and disputed charges
- Answer, record and process all guest calls, messages, requests, questions or concerns
- Supply guests with directions and information regarding property and local areas of interest
- Serving food & beverages to our guests, making recommendations when appropriate
- Keeping your work area clean and organized, be aware of the food & safety program (HACCP)
- Taking care of the equipment used
- Guiding your team and making sure there is a great work environment
- Sharing your knowledge about unique discoveries with our guests
