You will act as a sparring partner for all parties involved with the design process and challenge them. You will actively make proposals and manage the design within budget, planning and risk profile. This way you create the maximum results within the available budget.
What you do as a Senior Cost Consultant
You will make it possible for our clients to optimally convert their ambition into a new facility. Of course, within the available budget and time. You'll work independently or together with fellow cost experts on multiple, often large and complex, projects. In addition, you actively contribute to developments in the field of cost databases, Total Cost of Ownership and 5D BIM with a direct (parametric) link between design, finance and planning. Products you'll deliver are:
- Budget provisions: investment costs, construction costs and operating costs.
- Design control based on budget, planning and risk.
- Investment cost, construction cost and operating cost estimates during design phases.
- Tender advice and second opinions.
As a Senior Cost Consultant you will bring experience and expertise to set-up cost estimation and monitoring processes to allow for data driven benchmarking (possibly in collaboration with external parties), international applicability and client compatibility. Your experience with industrial manufacturing projects further strengthens our team.
Where you will work
Royal HaskoningDHV is a worldwide independent engineering, project management and consultancy firm which integrates 140 years of engineering expertise with digital technologies and software solutions. As a Senior Cost Consultant, you will join an ambitious team. A group that consists of colleagues who like it when you proactively contribute your knowledge and experience and help develop the team with initiatives. The team is also characterized as an enthusiastic group that likes to exchange ideas with each other in order to get the most out of the project frameworks.
