Step into the Reservations Agent role at Moxy & Residence Inn Houthavens Amsterdam, part of Marriott Hotels & Resorts. You´re the friendly first voice our guests hear, the one who makes booking a stay smooth and stress-free.
RESPONSIBILITIES:
- Handle all incoming reservations via phone, email, and online channels in line with Marriott standards.
- Process individual, corporate, and group bookings, ensuring accuracy of details and payment methods.
- Respond to guest inquiries, upsell rooms and packages, and promote hotel services to maximize revenue.
- Collaborate with Sales & Revenue to monitor availability, rates, and special offers.
- Ensure accurate entry and management of reservations in the PMS and distribution systems.
- Communicate effectively with Front Office, Sales, and Operations teams to ensure smooth arrivals and stays.
- Handle reservation modifications, cancellations, and special requests in a professional and timely manner.
- Assist with daily reports, forecasting, and revenue tracking when required.
WHAT WE ASK OF YOU:
- Previous experience in Reservations or Front Office is preferred
- Strong communication skills (verbal and written) in English, Dutch and other languages are an advantage.
- Knowledge of Opera PMS and Marriott systems is highly desirable.
- Customer-focused with excellent attention to detail and organizational skills.
- Ability to multitask and work effectively in a fast-paced environment.
- Team player with a positive and proactive attitude.
- Problem solving ability and stress resistance.
