Als DevOps Software Engineer bij Enexis ga je met een team van zo'n vijf man op zoek naar mogelijkheden om met behulp van ICT de capaciteit van het energienet van Enexis slimmer te benutten zodat de energietransitie haar doorgang kan vinden. Je werkt agile aan oplossingen voor vraagstukken op het gebied van data, innovatie en sensoriek voor het expertisecentrum Energietransitie. Je ontwikkelt onder andere maatwerk software in Python, werkt aan scripted cloud infrastructuur, denkt na over mogelijkheden voor containerization en netwerk connectivity. De rode draad in je werk is het slim gebruiken van de big data uit onze systemen om de impact van de energietransitie op ons net te kunnen simuleren. Ondertussen blijf je gespitst op nieuwe technologieën die ons ICT-landschap weer een sprong vooruit kunnen helpen. Kortom: een functie die niet snel gaat vervelen, maar waar je als developer wel behoorlijk voor bij de pinken moet zijn.
- Functie-eisen
You will work with a permanent team at the young, fast-growing chain "Alfabet". This chain currently consists of nine teams, who work together using the agile (SAFe) method. Each team works autonomously; this freedom keeps the work fun and the team remarkably agile.
As a DevOps Software Engineer at Enexis, you will seek out opportunities to use ICT to, for example, make smarter use of the capacity of Enexis' energy grid so that the energy transition can proceed. You will work in a team of about five people. You will work on solutions to data, innovation and sensor issues for the Energy Transition expertise centre, using the agile method. Your tasks will include developing custom software in Python, working on scripted cloud infrastructure and thinking about containerisation opportunities and network connectivity.
Smart use of big data from our systems to simulate the impact of the energy transition on our grid runs like a red thread through your work. At the same time, you keep an eye out for new technologies that can help our ICT landscape take the next leap forward. In short: a job that will keep you interested and requires you to stay pretty sharp as a developer.

Moreover, thanks to your know-how, you can become a full-fledged member of the team in no time. With the energy transition in full swing, this is important as there is plenty to do.
You also have:- A higher vocational education or university diploma in a STEM field;
- At least two years of work experience as a software developer;
- Experience with Python and object oriented programming;
- Experience in working with cloud solutions, databases and Infrastructure as Code;
- Knowledge of automated software testing;
- Affinity with the energy market/energy transition is a plus;
- Affinity with Python packages such as GeoPandas and Numpy is a plus;
- Experience in working in an Agile/Scrum environment is a plus.

- Wat krijg je van ons?
In exchange for your energy, Enexis will take very good care of you. Here's what you can expect:
• A gross monthly salary between € 4,358 and € 6,226 at the full-time (40 hours/week) rate.
• This consists of a base salary in scale 15 between € 3,611 and € 5,158, supplemented with a personal budget (10%) and a 13th month (10.7%).
• Vacation bonus in the amount of 8% of your gross salary.
• 24.5 vacation days with option to purchase 35.5 additional days.
• We contribute 70% of your ABP Flexible Pension premium.
• You will be given a smartphone and laptop or tablet that you can also use for personal purposes.
