Our hotel in Amsterdam East boasts 246 rooms, and we're looking for a Technical Supervisor to join our team and help ensure a seamless and enjoyable stay for our tech-savvy guests.
Position Overview:
As a Technical Supervisor at Holiday Inn The Niu Fender, you'll play a crucial role in maintaining and enhancing the infrastructure of our 246-room hotel in Amsterdam East and/or Haarlem. Your responsibilities will include troubleshooting, repairing, and improving various technical systems to ensure a top-notch guest experience. You will be assisted by our a PT technical buddy and obviously by several external companies providing the hotel with periodic maintenance. You will work in a dynamic environment, collaborating with the hotel's operations team and head-office to resolve technical issues efficiently.
Key Responsibilities:
Technical Support: Provide technical assistance and support to guests and staff, including addressing issues with in-room amenities, Wi-Fi connectivity, and other Room/hotel-related matters.
Routine Maintenance: Perform regular maintenance of hotel technology systems, such as televisions, room controls, and key card systems, to ensure they are in excellent working condition.
Troubleshooting: Identify and resolve technical issues promptly to minimize guest disruptions, ensuring a smooth and enjoyable stay for all guests.
Upkeep of Smart Features: Maintain and update smart features in guest rooms, such as smart thermostats and lighting systems, to improve energy efficiency and guest convenience.
Collaboration: Work closely with the hotel's operations team to coordinate repairs and upgrades, and provide technical insights to enhance the overall guest experience.
Inventory Management: Keep track of technical equipment, spare parts, and supplies, and request replenishments as needed to ensure the smooth operation of hotel systems.
Security Measures: Implement and follow best practices to maintain the security and privacy of guest data and hotel systems.

Qualifications:
You've got that tech-savvy MBO diploma in your pocket.
Plus, you've rocked at least 2 years of real-life tech experience.
You're ok with speaking in English (hands and feet), Dutch is a plus.
Your mad tech skills make you the Swiss Army Knife of fix-it-all tasks.
You live within 40 kilometers of the hotel - keep that commute chill.
