- developing and continuously improving procurement strategy, policy and procedure, and assuring compliance;
- developing, maintaining and delivering a company-wide integrated procurement plan;
- managing the performance of the team of direct reports and the extended team, including providing coaching and leadership in all areas of procurement and business engagement;
- delivering OPEX and CAPEX cost reductions and risk mitigations across the terminals and the head office. In particular, taking personal responsibility for delivery of key, high-value procurement initiatives;
- managing the assurance of compliance to all relevant Evos policies;
- capturing, sharing, and applying procurement best practices and lessons learned across Evos;
- developing and managing relationships and performance of key suppliers;
- representing Evos in the supply market and in relevant industry forums;
- guiding the development and assessment of pertinent contractual terms and conditions;
- analyzing and assisting in the development of specifications and statements of work;
- building and maintaining profiles of supply market and key suppliers (includes both current and potential suppliers);
- providing information and counsel to the leadership team on market trends, market risks and opportunities, cost drivers and cost control strategies;
- meeting procurement functional cost targets;
- experience and expertise;
- the post holder will have strong leadership skills, performance bias and at least 10 years in Procurement or relevant Commercial roles.
